About
Finback is a private investment firm with a strategic value-add approach designed to accelerate portfolio company growth.

Prior to his presidency, George H.W. Bush served as one of the youngest pilots in the US Navy during World War II. Following a successful mission, his aircraft was hit, forcing him to parachute into the ocean. The USS Finback was the Navy submarine that rescued him.
Since then, the USS Finback has become a guiding symbol for the firm that encourages teamwork, integrity, and resilience. Chaired by Governor Jeb Bush, Finback strives to support and empower people, companies, and communities through its investments.

Our active value creation model connects operating companies with a strategic network of resources and expertise to accelerate their growth.
